Friesdale (freez'dale) n. A breed of horse created by crossing a Friesian to a Clydesdale which produces a stunning horse that moves like a Friesian with the temperament of a Clydesdale.  

At Friesdale Farms we're dedicated to breeding the best quality Friesdale mares to the best Gypsy Vanner and Drum Horses out there. The Drum Horse foals out of this cross will be more refined, have greater extension and flashier movement.  This cross will give you the looks, the style and the grace it takes to win at the shows every time. 

Friesdale Farms is a private farm located in south central Wisconsin.  We have over 37 acres of gorgeous rolling hills, woods and plenty of pastures for our beautiful horses to enjoy.  Our place is 3 years old, we still have so many things we still want to do to it, but that'll take a little more time.  In the mean time, they have a nice barn to come and go as they please and more love and affection than they know what to do with.

Our horses are our family; they are loved as much as any human member could ever be.  We handle our horses daily, not only to make them safe and fun to be around, but because we simply love being around them. Horses are our life, we want only to produce the best of the best.  It's not about a business, it's about a passion.
